An old friend from Hyderabad (ST) called today. It was a surprise call. Made me remember my fascination at Asterix and Obelix. I read in the papers of Raima Sen's 5 favourite movies, which included Aandhi, on top, which was to be expected, Arth again, not a surprise, considering the lives of Suchitra Sen and Moon Moon Sen. But, the pleasant surprise was A Beautiful Mind. Which brings us back to square one.
Wilbur Smith in 'Quest' writes of the journeys that one can go on, inside your mind. So he plays with the idea of meeting up with another person's mind or journeying with the mind of another person. I would be terrified of the consequences. I am yet to see far deeper into the recesses of my own mind, leave alone explore with another person or go to meet the mind of another person.
There is a sentence, actually two, from Asterix, "to hear ourselves speak" and "to hear ourselves think". These are very fascinating aspects. When one explores silence, I think, all the noise inside our heads, makes us hear all our thoughts and creates a big ruckus. The mind, our emotions, good or bad, thoughts, memories, whether selective memories or bad memories, can be such a fascinating minefield. There are some questions that one should explore.
What comes first? Ego or stubbornness? Is one stubborn, because of one's ego? Is one egoistic, because one cannot let it go? Crazy. I think, the implosion and explosion of a mind is simultaneous. It breaks up on the inside and it breaks up on the outside. Does one lead to the other? I think, it happens together.
Is a period of calm, the lull before the storm or is it the eye of the cyclone? Worrisome, though it may be, I think I will follow the advice of Goddess Durga. - Leave it. Do not react. Do not pro-act. Do not act. Just step away. To each person, their actions, and to each person, their failures....
Be it me, or be it my wife or others. The world does not change on my preferences, and neither will 'time' stop in its movement. As the goddess said, enough of acrimony, that is visible and present. Enough of hatred that is visible and active. Let the actions be restricted and let there be silence. Let there be restraint and let there be avoidance of unpleasantness. Just do what you want to and let others do what they want to. Crash the reactions and crash the face-offs. Stop using religion and gods in visible acrimony. Desist. Go do what you want without arguments and without toughening of attitudes. Best to go away from the situations.

1. Anger is a result of negativity.
2. Anger is directed at a person.
3. The negativity becomes all consuming.
4. The person is the cause, and the target.
5. Negativity should be observed.
6. Observation should be very passive.
7. Observation should be a discipline.
8. The discipline must never be broken.
9. Unconscious negativity should be examined.
10. Suppressed negativity is all wrong.

Anger is the end result and cascades all emotions.
Negativity precedes anger and creates internal combustion that helps one to explode in anger.
Negativity should be observed in a passive manner.
Value attachments should be avoided to subconscious thoughts.
Enter a vipassana state of thought and examination of breath immediately upon perceiving any assumption of negativity within the inner reaches of one's own mind.

What is a fight? Some event, in which you spar, you jab, taunt, feint, lunge, dance, swing etc. Its all about movement, activity, visible aggression, retreat and revise the lunges. Its all about doing. Actual action and argument. I feel that its all too easy. Its easy to fight and remonstrate. It is more and more difficult to avoid the fight. Can one not at all fight? Can one stay away from a fight? Would it be hypocritical? Would it not actually mean closing one's own eyes to a wrong doing? Should one fight injustice? Or, not do anything about it? Let us decide -
1. Do not get visibly angry and argue.
2. Do not remonstrate and do not fight.
3. Stay quiet. Withdraw within yourself.
4. Let each person do what they want to do.
5. Do not talk about what each one did.
6. Do not ask people close to you, especially children, (ie my daughter) to choose loyalties.
7. Do not get involved in mundane stuff that may lead to situations.
